    Dr. Adam DePoe

    Dr. Adam DePoe, OD grew up in Jonesboro, Georgia. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Georgia. He was awarded his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Adam DePoe is a member of the Georgia Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Away from the office he enjoys an occasional round of golf and spending time with his family.

    Dr. Laura DePoe

    Dr. Laura DePoe, OD grew up in Kentucky where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Union College. She was awarded her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She is a member of the Georgia Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Outside of the office, she enjoys music, reading the Bible, and most importantly spending time with her family.

Meet the DePoe Optometrists

  • Dr. David Cho

    Dr. David Cho is a primary care optometrist with a special interest in ocular disease. His experience includes management of diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, dry eye, and ocular conditions affected by systemic diseases. Dr. Cho also examines patients of all ages and fits contact lenses. He is committed to preserving the gift of sight and serving the patients of his community.

    Dr. Cho received his B.S. in Public Health Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. He graduated from Southern California College of Optometry with Cum Laude and as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa honors society. He received his clinical training at the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Hospital, Castle Family Hospital in Atwater, CA and the Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital in Sacaton, AZ. During his free time, he enjoys sports, trying new food, and staying active.

  • Dr. Earls

    Dr. Pamela Earls obtained her Bachelor’s of Science degree from Howard University (Washington, D.C.) in the area of Microbiology. She graduated from Pennsylvania (Salus) College of Optometry in Philadelphia, Pa. After practicing in both Baltimore and Annapolis Maryland, she returned home to Georgia in 1995 and began private practice. Dr. Earls practices full scope optometry with an emphasis in ocular pathology. She is a proponent of integrated and holistic medicine with treatment of the whole patient. She has taught for the University of Phoenix in the areas of Health & Wellness, Human Nutrition, and entry level Sciences. Her love for teaching carries over into daily patient care. She feels that educating her patients is just as important as examining and treating their eyes.

    In her spare time, Dr. Earls enjoys writing music, dancing, traveling, and volunteering at her church. Most of all, she cherishes quality time with her family including her husband, two daughters, and their two Ski Collies.

  • Dr. Eichhammer

    Dr. Eichhammer graduated from Duke University in 1978 with a degree in chemistry and soon went on to graduate from PA College of Optometry in 1982. Following graduation, Dr. Eichhammer joined an Ophthalmology practice, Fayette Eye Clinic, where he received extensive training and experience diagnosing and treating complex ocular conditions, such as infections, abrasions, foreign bodies, glaucoma, dry eye, and many others. He provides pre and post-operative care for our cataract surgery patients, and also provides thorough routine eye examinations. Dr. Eichhammer and his wife live in Peachtree City, and enjoy many outside activities with their friends, family, and grandchildren.

  • Dr. Aditi Bellur

    Dr. Aditi Bellur is an ocular disease residency trained and American Board certified optometrist. She grew up in Marietta, GA and attended University of Georgia for her undergraduate studies. During her time she also worked in a research laboratory focusing on regenerative medicine. While raising guide dogs as a part of the Guide Dog Foundation she found her passion for eyes.

    Dr. Bellur went on to earn her Optometry degree at the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry in 2022. During her time, she was elected class president and actively engaged tutoring and community outreach. She pursued research at IAUPR as well, focusing on the current trends in myopia. During her time there, she learned Spanish and is able to provide complete exams in the language.

    Dr. Bellur believes in comprehensive and superior eye care for all her patients and highlights equality of access to care in her practice.

    During her free time Dr. Bellur enjoys baking, traveling and spending time with her family.

  • Dr. Keith Caudelle

    Dr. Keith Caudelle is a native Georgian. He was born in Atlanta and grew up on the south side in Clayton and Fayette counties. His introduction to eye care came in the fourth grade when he himself needed vision correction and his mother took him for his first optometric visit. He has worn glasses or contact lenses ever since. Dr. Caudelle graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 1984, with Doctor of Optometry degree

    He began private practice in 1986 in Fayetteville. Since that time his specialties have been family eye care and contact lenses. Dr. Caudelle is married and has two children. He has had the privilege of traveling to Uganda and Ecuador to perform eye examinations and distribute eyeglasses to those in need of eye care who live in remote areas and poor conditions. He is an avid history buff and enjoys playing golf in his spare time.

  • Dr. Mark Seacat

    Dr. Seacat received both his Bachelor and Doctor of Optometry degrees from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. He joined DePoe Eye Center in February of 2023 after owning a successful private practice in New Mexico. He is board-certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease and has a special interest in dry eye disease and fitting scleral contact lenses. Dr. Seacat and his wife Tina live in Griffin and enjoy spending free time with their two adult children and exploring the Atlanta metro area.

  • Dr. Brenda Schizas

    Dr. Schizas was born and raised in Texas. She received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with honors from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Following graduation, she completed a year-long residency in primary care and ocular disease at a veteran outpatient clinic in Florida. She served patients in a private practice setting in South Carolina before moving to Georgia last year. She is experienced in all facets of comprehensive eye care and is excited to serve the Atlanta area. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, trying out new recipes, gardening, and spending time with her family.

  • Dr. Baldwin

    Dr. Baldwin is a graduate of GA State University. At Georgia State he was inducted into Beta Beta Beta, the National Biology Honor Society. He graduated from Southern College of Optometry where he was a member of Gold Key Honor Society. After optometry school, he served in the army at Walter Reed Army Medical Center for two years. Griffin, GA has been his home for over forty years. He and his wife, Lou, have two sons, Chris and Jeff. Church and Boy Scouts are two of his main areas of focus. He is an Elder in the Presbyterian church and serves as Vice-President of the Flint River Council of the BSA.

  • Dr. Steven Taylor

    Dr. Steven Taylor has been with Depoe Eye Center since 2014, and primarily practices out of the Jonesboro location. As a local native of Jonesboro he pursued his education at the University of Georgia receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Next he attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1984. Later in the same year he married his wife Sarah and started practicing eye care. He is a member of the society of Professional Optometrist’s and provides quality comprehensive eye care for family members of all ages. Dr. Taylor takes pride building a personal and professional rapport with each of his patients resulting in a long term doctor-patient relationship. He enjoys going to and watching spectator sports, collecting old coins, and most of all participating in activities with his family.
