Dr. Jessica Perry is an optometrist with a passion for pediatric eye care and helping children develop a strong foundation for lifelong vision.
Originally from Utah's Salt Lake Valley, Dr. Perry grew up surrounded by mountains and beautiful summer evenings before attending the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. During her time there, she graduated Cum Laude and received several prestigious honors, including the Laudon Vision Grant, the COVD Excellence in Vision Therapy Award, and the Glen T. Steele, OD and L. Allen Fors, OD Developmental Vision Endowed Scholarship.
Dr. Perry's clinical interests focus on pediatric eye care, myopia management, and developmental vision. She also has a background in vision therapy and experience in neuro-optometric rehabilitation, allowing her to provide comprehensive care for children with a wide range of visual needs. She especially enjoys helping young patients feel comfortable during their visits while empowering parents with the knowledge they need to support their child's long-term eye health.
At DePoe Eye Center, Dr. Perry is proud to be part of a team that shares her commitment to personalized, patient-centered care. She values the opportunity to care for children from an early age and help them build healthy visual habits that support success in school, sports, and everyday life.
Outside the office, Dr. Perry enjoys trying new restaurants, relaxing in local coffee shops, and taking long walks, especially those that lead to rivers, blooming flowers, beautiful sunsets, or an interesting fire hydrant. She also shares her unique collection of fire hydrant photos on Instagram under the account @firehydrantexplorer. At home, she's kept entertained by her feisty (and very adorable) cat, Couscous.
