Dr. Sruthi Sethuram is an optometrist at DePoe Eye Center who is passionate about helping patients maximize one of life's greatest gifts: their vision. She believes exceptional eye care begins with listening to each patient's needs, building lasting relationships, and creating personalized treatment plans that support lifelong eye health.
Dr. Sethuram has a special interest in medical eye care, particularly the treatment of ocular surface disease, while also enjoying pediatric eye care. She finds great fulfillment in working with children and their families to help ensure they have the clear vision they need to succeed in school, participate in the activities they love, and reach their full potential.
During her clinical training, Dr. Sethuram completed a rotation at Woolfson Eye Institute, where she gained experience in refractive and cataract surgery co-management, diagnosing and treating ocular disease, and identifying conditions such as keratoconus. She also completed a pediatric-focused rotation at Plano Vision Center in the Chicago area.
In addition to caring for patients in the office, Dr. Sethuram has participated in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness of early vision care and the importance of early detection of conditions such as myopia and strabismus. She is also a proud member of the Georgia Optometric Association.
Outside the office, Dr. Sethuram enjoys attending Pilates classes, exploring new restaurants with friends, and expressing her creativity through painting and cooking—all while listening to mellow jazz.
