Dr. Schizas was born and raised in Texas. She received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with honors from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Following graduation, she completed a year-long residency in primary care and ocular disease at a veteran outpatient clinic in Florida. She served patients in a private practice setting in South Carolina before moving to Georgia last year.
She is experienced in all facets of comprehensive eye care and is excited to serve the Atlanta area. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, trying out new recipes, gardening, and spending time with her family.
