DePoe Eye Center - Dallas

I just had my eye exam today and this was the most thorough and great eye exam I have ever experienced and I am 65 years old .. The staff was very friendly , professional.. and on time ..Dr. Katherine Everette, O.D. was the best eye doctor I have ever seen . In the past two different the eye centers sold me glasses and I could not wear them without getting sick. .. it made my vision off.. today I learn I have 20 / 25 .. I did not need everyday eye glasses just reading glasses . I am so disappointed in the last two eye doctors clinic who sold me glasses that I truly did not need . A waste of my hard earned money $1,000.00 down the toilet.. I am recommending this clinic to all my family and friends ..best ever ..

I wish I could give less than a 1 star rating for this location. I booked my Twin an appointment 2 - 3 weeks out and the day before the appointment, I get a call telling me they have water damage and need to reschedule. Things happen so I accepted the reschedule for the following week. Again, I get a call today 9/16/2026 @ 4:30 pm confirming my appointment for tomorrow and the appointment is for the wrong time. The lady I was speaking to was not very knowledgeable about the scheduling so I asked for the officer manager. Very nasty,rude and unprofessional. I was interrupted in a very unprofessional manner and over talked. She made me feel as if my concerns were a bother to her. This is not a good feeling for a first time client who is entrusting her children to be cared for by them. I would not recommend this location. Update to my original post. I received a call from Ms.Rojas from the corporate office and let me tell you she was amazing. She listened to my concerns and addressed them. She allowed me to keep my original appointment and reassured me things would go smoothly. I arrived for my appointment and I am very impressed with the level of service we received, from Ally who offered a warm welcome to Ms . Woods who was professional and attentive. The office was very clean and inviting and at a comfortable temperature. Thank you De Poe for turning a bad experience into an AWESOME experience.

This place is amazing!!! I haven’t had my eyes checked in almost 6 years and they made sure everything was good. The doctor was able to answer all my questions and then when it was time to get my glasses the staff was amazing! She was able to tell me good price points in my budget and if they were good quality. The add ons were not pressured, she actually added all the add ons that my insurance covered and told me so I could remove any I didn’t want. When we talked about transitions, she was able to inform me about how they work and they had a cheaper alternative because they were not supposed to be used as sunglasses. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quality doctor and staff for vision!
